OM Ancient Powerful Sound

Om. The best mantra for our family. First let me give you some background on this profound word.

The word "Om" has a long and rich history in Indian religions and traditions. Om is a sacred syllable that originated in ancient Indian Vedic texts, dating back over 3,500 years. The syllable is made up of three sounds - "A", "U", and "M". It is considered the most fundamental and powerful mantra in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and other Dharmic faiths. The word represents the beginning of creation and everything in it. You do not need to practice these religions to chant the mantra OM. The symbol is often said at the beginning and end of yoga classes or other spiritual gatherings. It signifies the infinite nature of the universe and ultimate reality.

Om is said to encompass all words and sounds in human language. It represents the trio of nature's of existence - the waking state, dream state, and deep sleep state. Chanting Om allows one to experience the universe's infinite vibration and reconnect their essence with the supreme energy or truth.

For my son and I, OM is our favorite mantra for stress relief. When we feel stress, anger, or anxiety, chanting Om helps dissipate these feelings. We close our eyes and chant the ancient sound together. Aligning our voices with A-U-M, creates a vibration that releases stress, and illuminates the son & mother bond. A bond that reassures we are connected and we are here for each other in this world and beyond. It's amazing. When you experience harmonizing the sound of OM together, the vibration is felt in your body, and mind. Try it alone or with someone, it will change your life.

Any questions? We would love to hear from you. Enjoy your journey.
